Annotating Items
You can draw directly on images, text items, link cards, media items, and groups. The drawing is linked to the item and moves with it.
How to Annotate
Section titled “How to Annotate”- Select an image, text item, link card, media item, or group.
- Tap Annotate in the control bar or contextual menu.
- Draw using brush, highlighter, or shapes.
- Tap Done to finish.
Linking an Existing Drawing
Section titled “Linking an Existing Drawing”You can also attach a standalone drawing to an item after it has already been made.
- Select the drawing and the item together.
- Use the link annotation action from the control bar or contextual menu.
If the item already has a linked annotation, ArtDeck merges the selected drawing into that annotation.
Editing an Annotation
Section titled “Editing an Annotation”Select the item and tap Edit Annotation in the control bar to re-enter Annotation Mode and modify the strokes.
Note: “Edit Drawing” opens a standalone drawing item for editing. “Edit Annotation” is the button shown when the selected item already has a linked annotation.
Clearing an Annotation
Section titled “Clearing an Annotation”Select the item and tap Clear Annotation to remove all annotation strokes from it.
Standalone Drawings
Section titled “Standalone Drawings”Drawings created on the board (via D or the contextual menu) start as standalone items. They can be moved, resized, and rotated independently until you link them to another item.
